I’ve decided to start a blog! I will use this to talk about the things that interest me. That will mostly be science (especially astronomy), my son and our adventures together, and skepticism/atheism/humanism. I also hope to maintain and strengthen my writing skills now that I am not writing things for a living and 75% or so of my daily conversations are with a three-month-old.
For now, I’m calling this blog “Dadstronomer”–“dad” and “astronomer” mashed together. It’s a little cutesy and a little awkward, but I’ve been putting off starting this blog for months because I couldn’t think of a good title. So, we’ll just have to go with a not-so-good title! (And WordPress assures me that I can change it if I ever come up with something better….)
